MOCOS DE TIERRA/ MOREL/ DAHI LOLA/ S**T RAG @ The Birdhouse
A benefit show for the Latino Grad’s of HSU’s M.E.C.H.A club, the show turned into one of the rowdiest crowds for several acts. The Birdhouse had provided a safe space for everyone to participate in a comfortable environment, the night featured the likes of all punk sub-genre’s from proto-punk to riioott grrl bands.

HSU RISING @ Humboldt State University
Representing the talented local music community, AS presented a day festival in the parking lot on the corner of Rossow and Harpst Street. The festival included performances by Spliff Moth, Diggin’ Dirt, Indiocholo, and more. Of course everyone was most excited for all of the free tamales the event had to offer.

SLUTEVER/ LISA PRANK / LOST LUVS @ The Batcave
We couldn’t be more thankful for the grand re-opening of the Batcave! Lost Luvs made everyone groove around the place, as always….. they were a steady crowd pleaser with their acid-bleached 60’s sunny pop-edelia. Slutever moshed the night away with surprise switch offs between two-piece band members and rocked heavy with their catchy twin harmonized vocals. Lisa Prank played a solo set with her neat drum machine, singing totally relatable songs about how much luv sucks. OH!! She also had everyone singing along to a cover of Blink 182’s “Dammit”.
Netherfriends/ Chipper Jones/ DAHI LOLA @ The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse had the first outside show of the year with DAHI LOLA. Chipper Jones had an excellent psychedelic ambient noise set with just two boys and a lot of pedals. Netherfriends BLEW people’s heads off with his from scratch looping beat set that made a cacaphony of sounds….. magic.
BODY ACADEMICS/DR. FOX/ YOURBOYRFRIEND @ 199NVRLND
Probably the craziest & most rowdy event we’ve been to this year. Body Academics (Portland, OR) caused a raucous with personal dancer, Dante at 199NVRLND. Cole Foks and Benji Aguirre capture shots with excellent guest performances by Dr. Foxmeat and YOURBOYFRIEND.

SPLIFF MOTH/ ERIC AYOTTE/ MATT SUMMER’S @ THE FARMHOUSE
Matt Summers and Eric Ayotte shared there folk punk tunes, SPLIFF MOTH wrecked The Farmhouse with the heaviest mosh pit in the smallest amount of space. Cole Foks and Benji Aguirre captured moments with the bands.
